We are supporting a leading communications firm in Saudi Arabia on the appointment of a senior communications leader with strong experience across corporate or financial, and/or government communications.
  
This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional who can operate at senior leadership level, manage complex stakeholder environments, and deliver clear, credible communications in a fast-paced and highly visible setting.
  

Role Overview
As Director – Strategic Communications, you will lead and deliver strategic communications programmes that support reputation, trust, and organisational objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing counsel on messaging, positioning, and engagement across a range of audiences.

The role requires sound judgement, discretion, and confidence navigating sensitive and high-stakes communications.
  

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned to business and public-sector priorities
  • Advise senior leaders on corporate, financial, and government communications matters
  • Shape narratives around strategy, performance, policy, and transformation initiatives
  • Lead executive and leadership communications, including speeches, statements, and messaging
  • Manage media relations, issues management, and crisis communications when required
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement across government, regulators, investors, and the public
  • Ensure message consistency across internal and external communications channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality outputs
  

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Mid to senior Director-level experience in strategic communications
  • Background in corporate, financial, or government communications (or a combination)
  • Experience operating in complex, highly regulated, or high-visibility environments
  • Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent writing, messaging, and narrative development capabilities
  • Comfortable managing sensitive topics with discretion and authority
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East is strongly preferred
