MCG Talent is currently looking for a Regional Growth / New Business Manager to join one of the world’s leading Brand Design Consultancy based in Singapore.
Our client is global integrated agency that works with some of the largest FMCG and B2C companies in the world. They are global experts in developing brand solutions across creative, data, tech, media, strategy. Working closely with their sister agencies worldwide, they are a full-funnel agency that provides a plethora of on/offline solutions for global corporations worldwide. They harbour four major offices worldwide and are an established leader within the international design industry, particularly in APAC.
About the role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Regional Growth/New Business Director to join their Singapore studio. The ideal candidate be well versed across the Asia region in identifying, prospecting, winning and contracting new deals within the creative/comms and brand ecosystems. This role will work closely with internal teams and global network agencies to help attract and convert new clients to Singapore from your extensive connections across the region. The role requires a hands-on individual with demonstrable experience in creating new business relationships, running the full-funnel process and achieving large growth targets consistently.
The role includes but isn’t limited to:
  • Development, ownership and activation of our growth plan. Delivering client growth against our core industry pillars and verticals, seeking new trends and verticals for us to operate within.
  • Map and implement a full-funnel strategy to acquire, retain & upsell/cross-sell new clients to the agency
  • Finding new prospects managing both inbound and self-sourced leads.
  • Full accountability and management of the lead funnel from prospecting to creds presentations, through to leading pitches and supporting in commercial negotiation.
  • Identifying, prospect and develop opportunities from cold leads.
  • Run qualification calls with C-level executives and department leaders
  • Ability to motivate cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely RFI’s and RFP’s to deliver a frictionless sales process.
  • Knowing the competitive set ensuring our value proposition and story is told in a meaningful and memorable.
  • Management of monthly and annual pipeline as well as proven accuracy in forecasting and reporting via HubSpot
  • Prior experience in sales and new business across the Asia region within a creative and/or brand agency that has a creative/digital service offering.
  • Have presented and pitched to C-level executives on a business change
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in an agency sales/growth role
  • Self-starter, proactive with hands-on experience in building and implementing senior client relationships quickly, understanding their problems and translating them into growth opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple opportunities at the same time
  • Connections across relevant industry and ability to hit the ground running with prospects and client opportunities.
  • Strong proven track record delivering $2m+ in new business revenues.
  • Extensive contacts/networks with senior executives across Asia, especially interested in Singapore, MY, ID, India and China - Connections across relevant industry and ability to hit the ground running with prospects and client opportunities.
