MCG Talent is on the lookout for a Strategy Director to join our client's up-and-coming, growing team in Jakarta. This pivotal role is designed for a visionary strategist who excels at merging brand development with social media excellence. You will be the architect of strategies that resonate on social platforms and reinforce and elevate the overall brand narratives of our key clients in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consumer Insights: Partner with Data teams to leverage analytics for understanding consumer trends, shaping engagement strategies.
  • Cultural Awareness: Stay attuned to cultural trends, integrating societal insights into branding for continued relevance.
  • Strategic Communication: Simplify complex strategies into engaging narratives for stakeholder alignment, including C-suite.
  • Collaboration: Create synergy between creative and strategic teams to produce innovative, coherent campaigns.
  • Social Media Expertise: Lead social media strategy, from content creation to paid campaigns, tailored to brand growth objectives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Pursue new social media methodologies and best practices to enhance client impact.
  • Content & Community Management: Manage social content and community engagement, driving social effectiveness.
  • Performance Analysis: Report on web traffic, ROI, and optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff, driving innovation and excellence in strategy development and execution.
  • Client Engagement: Oversee client communications, fostering strong relationships through effective social media presences.
  
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in strategic planning or digital marketing within a creative agency, focusing on FMCG/food brands.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, with a solid grasp of marketing principles.
  • Brand Strategy Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies across traditional and digital/social channels, maintaining a cohesive narrative.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated skill in market research, consumer analysis, and competitive benchmarking for strategic and creative direction.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring junior strategists and promoting a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented environment.
  • Digital Content Strategy: Hands-on experience in crafting digital content strategies aligned with client branding, objectives, and target audiences.
  • Digital Metrics Knowledge: Understanding of digital metrics, SEO, and web traffic analysis, with a knack for new methodologies.
  • Research Methodologies: Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Social Media Savvy: Current and proficient in social media and emerging platforms.
  • Cultural Adaptability: Ability to engage with different cultures and practices.
  • Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker and fluent in English. Any additional APAC languages are a big plus.
  • Initiative: Eagerness to innovate and achieve excellence, spearheading world-class work through constant initiative
