Senior Manager (Charities iop)

This role leads the development and delivery of Mainland China engagement strategies for a charities and impact portfolio, strengthening relationships, trust, and visibility across priority stakeholders. You will shape narratives and programmes that connect mission, community impact, and partnerships, ensuring messaging is culturally relevant, locally resonant, and aligned to organisational objectives. The role works closely with internal leadership and cross-functional teams to plan and execute engagement initiatives, campaigns, and events, while managing partners and external stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.
  
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver Mainland engagement strategies aligned to organisational goals and community impact priorities
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including partners, community groups, institutions, media, and agencies
• Lead campaign planning and execution, including events, communications assets, and stakeholder outreach
• Create, review, and refine messaging to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance
• Track performance, prepare updates, and provide insights and recommendations to improve future activity
• Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality outputs

 
Qualification:

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in PR, communications, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or partnerships
• Strong understanding of Mainland China market dynamics and stakeholder landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Mandarin or Cantonese and English preferred
• Proven ability to manage campaigns, partners, and complex stakeholder groups
• Strong project management skills with a structured, outcome-focused approach
