A fast-growing marketing organisation is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive pipeline growth, win new business, and expand key client relationships. We are looking for a strong performer to join our client’s commercial team and help deliver consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth through identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will build and maintain a strong pipeline, engage decision-makers, and position solutions in a compelling, commercially focused way. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to shape proposals, lead pitch processes, and ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building, consultative selling ability, and the discipline to manage targets, forecasting, and CRM activity with accuracy and consistency.
  
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and execute new business strategy aligned to revenue targets
  • Identify and qualify opportunities, generating a consistent pipeline
  • Lead outreach, discovery conversations, and solution positioning with senior stakeholders
  • Develop proposals and lead pitch processes in partnership with internal teams
  • Negotiate commercial terms, close opportunities, and ensure strong handover to delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting against targets
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to refine go-to-market approach
  
  
Qualification:
  • 6 to 10+ years of experience in business development or consultative B2B sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and growing revenue
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Confident in leading pitches, proposals, and commercial discussions
  • CRM discipline and strong forecasting and reporting capability
