MCG Talent are on the look out for a commercially minded Business Development Director to join a fast growing video game developer, publish and investor to lead the business growth in Shanghai, China.
  
As a Business Development Director, you will focus on driving new partnerships within the region. Building on an existing client base or developing a new network of clients will be the key to success.
  
Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact and lead the business development initiatives for Greater China.
  • Develop long term relationships with game developers/publishers, and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local partners to develop acquisition strategies for game publishes, IPs and studios.
  • Monitor business and financial performances with senior management team.
  • Lead the local team and coordinate with cross functional teams.  
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the gaming (mid-core) industry in Greater China. Proven success of developing partnerships.
  • Existing client base within the mobile gaming industry in Asia.
  • Able to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset is a must.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, good English.
