As part of the expansion into the Thai market, we are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team.
About the Role
As the Business Development Manager for the Thai market, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing our presence in the region. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the financial services, banking, and other regulated sectors. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers, to promote our KYC compliance solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Thai market, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients in the financial services and banking sectors, as well as other industries that require robust KYC compliance solutions.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their specific compliance challenges, and presenting our tailored solutions to address their needs.
- Actively engage with prospects through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and other materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of our KYC compliance offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Work closely with the product and technical teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and successful implementation of our solutions for clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our KYC compliance services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports, providing regular updates to the management team on sales performance and market insights.
About the Candidate - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales roles within the financial services, banking, or compliance technology industry.
- Deep understanding of KYC compliance requirements and challenges faced by businesses in Thailand.
- Strong network of contacts within the financial services sector and proven experience in closing deals with enterprise-level clients.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Thai and English is required.
