MCG Talent are searching for an External Communications Manager to join a leading group based in Dubai.

About the Role

• Working with teams across the company to identify, develop, and lead external communications initiatives that enhance the reputation of the company and its businesses with key audiences
• Managing and enhancing key media relationships regionally and globally
• Working with teams across the company to devise and execute issues management strategies
• Developing and driving a external communication strategy together with the Head of Communications to create awareness of the group's brand and leadership
• Ensuring optimal communication of regional strategy and consistency of message across the region in all channels of communications
• Acting as a key pillar and a trusted advisor to leaders of cross-functional teams, ensuring an alignment in business profiling and implementation of any communication plans
• Coordinating with the group on all external announcements and respond to public enquiries. Supporting regional management with external event organisation, i.e. Group Chairman visits. Ensuring crisis communications protocol are up to date
• Managing local media and consumers during crises, communicating messages which are effective to turn the situation around as required

  
In order to succeed in this Communications role, you will need a wealth of experience in external communications in a regional capacity.
  
About the Candidate

• 8-10 yrs experience in external communications, ideally client side within the consumer space
• Agency experience is highly admirable.
• Experience working with fast-growing companies
• Ability to understand the nuances of working with a culturally diverse workforce
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Hands-on, proactive and a self driver. Strong creative thinking skills and inherent curiosity to push new angles and ideas
