Responsibilities:
- Strategize and implement communication plans for the client including content calendar, long-term strategies, and corporate reputation.
- Develop and oversee communications assets for the target audience including press releases, social media content, and thought leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients in different segments such as healthcare, nutrition, ESG.
- Lead and manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical writers, designers, and digital specialists to ensure integrated and impactful campaigns
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and profitable project delivery
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the Business Development team to generate leads and proposals
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform and advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions
- 8+ years of experience in PR/communications (agency required, healthcare comms experience preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience in a client-focused role (ideal).
- Strong writing skills.
- Updated with ongoing trends and themes in healthcare communication practices.
- Professional work ethic and willingness to lead.
- Mature, driven and can mentor the team to success.
