MCG Talent have partnered with a global advertising agency who are looking to hire an Account Director to join their team in Dubai.
The successful candidate must have experience working for an Adverting agency and ideally have exposure to global accounts. The agency will also accept applications from Senior Account Managers who are ready to make the step up. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact
- Understand clients' business goals, target audience, and industry trends to develop effective marketing and advertising strategies
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities and challenges, providing strategic recommendations to drive growth and brand awareness
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, timely delivery of projects, and managing expectations
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Lead the development of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns that align with clients' objectives and target audiences
- Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform campaign strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, media, digital, etc.) to develop comprehensive campaign plans and budgets
- Define campaign KPIs and measurement frameworks to track performance and optimise campaigns for maximum impact
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate and align internal teams, external vendors, and third-party partners to execute campaigns effectively
- Monitor campaign progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to ensure successful implementation
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate results, gather insights, and recommend improvements for future campaigns
About the Candidate:
- Manage and mentor account management teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and high performance.
- Encourage innovation and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive agency growth.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Years of experience in account management within an advertising agency or related industry, with a strong focus on integrated marketing campaigns
- Proven track record in successfully managing client relationships, delivering high-quality campaigns, and achieving business objectives
- Deep understanding of the advertising industry, including traditional, digital, and social media channels
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop effective campaign strategies and drive business growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively
- Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for campaign planning, project management, and performance tracking
