The Account Director provides senior strategic leadership across key client relationships and communications programmes, acting as a trusted advisor and driving high-level counsel, reputation outcomes, and account growth. You will lead the development of integrated communications strategies, oversee campaign planning, and ensure delivery excellence across teams. This role partners closely with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership to identify opportunities, manage risk, and create value through measurable communications impact. You will also lead pitches, proposals, and commercial conversations, while mentoring teams to deliver consistent, high-performing results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own account strategy, planning, and senior client counsel across multiple workstreams
- Lead integrated communications campaigns, ensuring alignment to objectives and measurable outcomes
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and act as the escalation point for key issues
- Oversee team delivery, resourcing, budgets, and timelines to ensure consistent quality
- Identify growth opportunities, lead proposals and pitches, and support commercial negotiations
- Drive reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to demonstrate impact
- Coach and mentor team members, building capability and high performance
Qualification:
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in PR and communications with proven account leadership
- Strong strategic planning, client counsel, and reputation management capability
- Commercial acumen with experience in proposals, pitching, and account growth
- Confident leader with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading teams across multiple accounts and priorities
